The Gerson Therapy, Miracle Chronic Disease Treatment

Posted by Farhad

Among alterantive chronic disease treatments, The Gerson Therapy stands head and shoulders above the rest. Here is a little background on the doctor who developed this amazing therapy [1].

Dr. Max Gerson was born in Wongrowitz, Germany on October 18, 1881 to a German-Jewish family. After graduating from High School he attended universities of Breslau, Wuerzburg, Berlin, and Freiburg for his medical studies. In 1907, he completed his internship in Hoechst, Main, and subsequently worked as on assistant to Professor Albert Frankel, M.D., in Berlin.

From 1909 until the beginning of the First World War, he worked in Berlin in the Friedrichshain Hospital with Professor Kronig and Professor Borottau, and for a short period at the children’s clinic with Professor Minkowsky. As a captain in the German Army Medical Corps, Dr. Gerson was a close associate for almost half a decade of the prominent neurosurgeon Ottfried Foerster, M.D. In 1919 he went on to start and develope his own practice.

While he was a university student, he developed these migraine headaches that became worse over time to the point that some times he would have to spend 3 days in a darkened room, experiencing nausea, vomiting, eye sensitivity, and aweful one-sided headaches with a pain so severe that he felt as though his cranium were splitting in two. He asked many of his medical professors for advice and was told to “just learn to live with it.”

Determined to find a solution he started his research and after studying numerous books he came across an article in an Italian medical journal that mentioned a woman who found relief from migraines by changing her diet but no details were given. Treating a disease with diet was a novel idea to him, so he set out to experiment with his diet. First he started drinking milk and only milk for 10 days. This seemed natural to him because every baby drinks and can digest cow’s milk. After 10 days his migraines did not improve and it occured to him that animals never drink milk once they are weaned, and that a human’s physical structure is more similar to a vegetarian animal and that he probably should live on fruits, vegetables, and grains.

Then he started an apple-only diet and he became well with no migraines. He then started adding foods one at a time and listening to his body’s reactions and took note of his negative reactions to certain foods including cooked foods. He then figured out that he could tolerate cooked food as long as no salt was added to it. He finally developed his “migraine diet” which consisted of raw fruits and vegetables and some cooked food but totally without salt. He then recommended this diet to his patients with migraines and they became free of migraines as long as they stayed away from salt and did not cheat.

One day however a patient showed up and claimed that his migraines had disappeared as well as his skin tuberculosis, known medically as lupus vulgaris. Dr. Gerson then informed his patient that lupus is incurable but the patient had proof from bacteriological studies that his previous diagnosis from another doctor was correct. So for the first time Dr. Gerson had cured skin tuberculosis with his special diet. Doctor Gerson then asked the patient if he knew any other patients suffering from lupus from the hospital where he was treated and he was put in contact with them. They in turn also recovered from lupus with his special “migraine diet.”

“News of Dr. Gerson’s success with treating lupus vulgaris came to the attention of Professor Ferdinand Sauerbruch, M.D., the world-famous lung tuberculosis specialist who practiced in Munich. After conducting long discussions on dietary concepts with Dr. Gerson, Prof. Sauerbruch decided to set up a clinical trial using the Gerson Therapy. During an extended period, the professor treated 450 “incurable” skin tuberculosis patients using Dr. Gerson’s method. Of these subjects, 446 recovered fully; Dr. Sauerbruch was deeply impressed. The renowned lung specialist reports on this successful Gerson dietary trial and its positive results in his autobiography, Master Surgeon.” [1]

“Dr. Gerson was not satisfied to let the situation rest there. He reasoned that if lupus vulgaris could be healed with diet, why not other forms of tuberculosis, such as lung, kidney, or bone TB? He started to treat such cases and found that they too responded to the dietary therapy and were cured.” [1]

“One of the lung TB cases was Dr. Albert Schweitzer’s (the Franco-German physician, theologian, philosopher and organist who received the Noble Peace Prize in 1953) wife, Helene., who had contracted tuberculosis at an early age in the tropics and was in terminal condition when she was brought to see Dr. Gerson by her husband. Mrs. Schweitzer recovered from her disease completely and went on to live well into her eighties.”

This is what Dr. Schweitzer had to say about Dr. Gerson:

“I see in Dr. Max Gerson one of the Most Eminent Geniuses in the History of Medicine.”

So ask yourself, why hasn’t everyone heard of him and why are his methods not being taught at every single medical school on the planet?

Here are a few documentaries about the Gerson Therapy:

“The Gerson Miracle”

 “The Beautiful Truth”

and “Dying To Have Known”

So after all these many years why are so many doctors ignorant of the importance of diet and the effectiveness of the Gerson Therapy? Is it just their ignorance or is there more going on?

“During the course of treating these various migraines and tuberculosis cases, Dr. Gerson found that many of the patients had been suffering from other problems, too: high blood pressure, asthma, allergies, kidney damage, arthritis, redisual stroke, hardening of the arteries, and more. These acute or chronic degenerations also disappeared. Unquestionably, the Gerson Therapy worked toward correcting almost any degenerating illness.” [1]

“Thus, Dr. Gerson reconized that he was no longer treating a disease; he was helping the body to heal itself of nearly all dysfunctions. Of course, this meant that he was no longer treating symptoms but the patient’s underlying problem; he was taking a completely different direction from the usual approach of orthodox medicine: the suppression of symptoms.” [1]

If you are still not convinced after watching full-length of the 3 documentaries above, then I urge you to read the following books:

  1.   The Gerson Therapy: The Proven Nutritional Program for Cancer and Other Illnesses The Gerson Therapy, Miracle Chronic Disease Treatment
  2.  A Cancer Therapy: Results of Fifty Cases and the Cure of Advanced Cancer The Gerson Therapy, Miracle Chronic Disease Treatment
  3. Healing the Gerson Way: Defeating Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases The Gerson Therapy, Miracle Chronic Disease Treatment

The cure of cancer is here. It has always been here.

What it comes down to is this: are you going to take authority as the truth, or truth as the authority.

Your life is yours. The choice is yours.

Please choose wisely.
